Terms of Service
The Service
Botle.ai is self-hosted AI chat software. The operator who runs the instance you are using provides you access to it; these terms govern your use of that instance. If you run your own instance, you are both operator and user.
Your Responsibilities
- use the service lawfully; do not use it to harm, harass, defraud, or infringe the rights of others
- do not abuse connected providers — spam, credential sharing, quota evasion, or circumventing rate limits
- AI provider API keys are yours: usage is billed to your accounts and content you generate must comply with each provider's terms
- keep your login and admin credentials private; activity under your credentials is your responsibility
Accounts and Access
The operator may create, suspend, or remove accounts at their discretion, including for violations of these terms. OAuth connections (Google, GitHub) and messaging sessions (WhatsApp) can be disconnected at any time from settings; disconnecting stops future access but does not erase data already exchanged.
Third-Party Services
Models, search, media feeds, logins, and messaging all run through third parties you choose to connect. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply alongside these terms. Botle.ai does not control them and is not responsible for their availability, pricing changes, or content moderation decisions.
Availability and Warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As self-hosted software running on the operator's infrastructure, uptime, performance, and data durability depend on that environment. Features may change or be removed as the software evolves.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the software authors nor the instance operator are liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including model outputs you rely on, provider charges you incur, or data loss on the instance.
Changes and Contact
These terms may be updated as the software evolves; the current version always lives at this page. For questions about a specific instance, contact its operator. For the Botle.ai software itself, reach the project at github.com/j4x-lab/h4xor-webui.
